Archery at Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park

Today, along with a group of friends, I made the journey down to York to go and do some archery! Other than as a kid at Sherwood Forest in Nottingham, I'd never done archery before and it turns out, I have hardly any upper body strength 😂

The theme was "Zombie Apocalypse" and you needed to score 90 points or higher, in 10 rounds, where your highest 3 scores were totalled up. Luckily, I scored 90 on the dot, so my survival rate was 100 🏆

Overall it was fun, I'd definitely do it again and I'd like to think my score would be higher next time! Only one of our group didn't make it out alive ðŸŠĶ but we'll remember them dearly!

It took around 90 minutes for 5 of us to complete the archery so feel free to use that as a guide for your group if you want to see how long it'll take you. You have some time to practice from 3 different distances, just so you can get used to how the arrows travel. You then have 10 rounds, shooting 5 arrows in each round to try and get your score.

They also do axe throwing next to the Archery, so we may end up going back for that!
