I named a thing!
On November 18th, Nuno Maduro tweeted that he'd finished building an application to make it easy to share encrypted notes, via a link and then the note self destructs once the link has been visited and the note has been viewed, pretty handy! He was after a domain name and a design:
just wrapped up an app where you can share encrypted notes, send a link, and it self-destructs after being viewed. no login, just send the link, done. 💌

now i need a domain and a design—ideas?
This was like 3am in my timezone so I was pretty sleepy so I had a little think and came up with "Pyre":
How about Pyre? 🔥

P (I assume it's written in PHP) but Pyre as in the message "burns" away, like a Pyre.
The idea in my mind made sense, you send a secure note, it gets viewed and then it burns away, like a Pyre. It also fit the whole Pint, Pest, starting with P naming convention. I replied to Nuno and it actually got a pretty good response from a load of people!
A few days later, Pyre was launched and looks amazing! Nuno Guerra did an amazing job on the design! If you haven't yet checked Pyre out, you can visit it at https://pyre.link/
