Vonage Knowledge Quest & Adding Alex to my Herd
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of joining Vonage for the first in their "Knowledge Quest" series, which is going to be a mixture of free online courses and content that anyone can join in and watch.
For the first session, it was hosted by James Secondé who is a Developer Advocate over at Vonage. It was titled "PHP Security Over 9000: Vonage 2FA approaches" and James showed us all how about as developers, we can use Vonage to improve our application security with 2FA, using the tools and APIs they offer. We also went over a method called "Silent Authentication", which I'd never heard of before.
Rather than me going into detail about everything that was discussed, you can check out a replay of the whole session below. It lasts for around 1 hour but provides many golden nuggets of authentication information that you won't want to miss out on!
In addition to knowledge, those of us that did sign up for the first session, were able to get our hands on Alex the ElePHPant, which is the official Vonage ElePHPant. I've been after it for a while so I'm glad I joined and gained both knowledge and an addition to the herd!
