I'm heading to Laravel Live UK
You may remember I was thinking about heading down to London to attend Laravel Live UK later this year, thanks to the great time I had at PHPUK
Well, this week I finally bought my ticket so I'll be attending Laravel Live on June 10th and 11th! I'm so excited for it! I'm looking forward to all of the speakers but in particular Dan Harrin, who will be talking about Filament V4, Joe Dixon who'll be talking about Laravel Cloud, Josh Cirre who'll be talking about Laravel Nightwatch, Simon Hamp who'll be talking about NativePHP, Dan Johnson who'll be talking about using PHP to power electronics and James Titcumb who'll be taking about PiePHP, the PECL replacement.
I'm also looking forward to networking between talks! I want to try and catch a member of NativePHP to ask them if Location services is on the roadmap. I've also managed to arrange an ElePHPant trade Florian Engelhardt from DataDog so I'll be travelling down with a couple of ElePHPants!
As it's a 2 day event, I needed accommodation. Fortunately, one of my best friends who lives up here but commutes to London for work has offered me a place to stay only an hour away from the city, so I'm very grateful for that and it's one less thing to have to worry about!
I'll be sure to post my thoughts post conference once I've had chance to soak it up! I'm expecting to come away much like PHPUK with a ton of ideas and I can't wait to start working on them!
